Caddilac released a teaser video offering a sneak preview of its new 38-inch curved OLED screen to be brought out with its new 2021 Escalade. According to Cadillac it will have “twice the pixel density of a 4K television.”
The majority of infotainment systems are placed in a small space at the centre of the dashboard, with a display at most the size of a tablet. In the video, it looks like this screen will be expanded right across the inside of the car.
Straight lines are so last year. Introducing the first curved OLED in the industry, with over 38” diagonal of total display on the 2021 #Cadillac #Escalade. First look February 2020, available late 2020. pic.twitter.com/AoW4SvXhYA— Cadillac (@Cadillac) December 16, 2019
The video suggests that the 2021 Escalade might be equipped with semi-autonomous driving technology, but other than a few details in the video, Caddilic remains mum.
Luckily consumers won’t have to wait long as Cadillac plans to reveal the new Escalade in February, during Oscars week( February 4, 2020 ).
