The Idaho Senate Tuesday unanimously approved the budget for Idaho Public Television (IPTV), which includes a 16.2 percent reduction in state funding from the current year. IPTV’s $2.43 million overall budget would be an 8.3 percent total reduction for the next fiscal year, which begins in July. There was no debate on the Senate floor for or against the budget set by lawmakers March 9. The budget now heads to the House for approval.
